Training & Professional Development

The mission of the Training and Professional Development unit is to help all employees of the university to be successful in their work – both individually and collectively.

The world around is changing faster than ever.  Every employee, from senior executives to new hires must strive for professional growth by improving skills, knowledge, work relationships, work tools, and processes. As the higher education landscape continues to evolve, today’s skills and practices will not adequately meet the needs of the university community. The Human Resources, Training, and Professional Development unit is leading the effort to continuously improve collective performance in order ensure that UDC remains viable and competitive as time progresses.

Here at UDC, professional development is a team effort.  Training services are provided by subject matter experts from many departments. The following links will introduce you to some of the exciting training, information, and professional development resources available to faculty and staff.
