Van Ness (Flagship Campus)
The University of the District of Columbia encourages prospective students and their families to visit our urbanely unique campus. During your scheduled campus tour, you will have an opportunity to meet with a member of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions team and explore our newly renovated campus. Also, ALL on-campus tours will be facilitated through the Office of Recruitment and Admissions’ representative while on campus.

The Office of Recruitment and Admissions invites you to spend a day with us by planning a campus tour. Our campus tour is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience the UDC community with one of our student ambassadors. We hope to see you soon!
Schedule Notice
Campus tours and information sessions are suspended on the weekends, federal holidays, and during the University closings.
- Fall semester tours are scheduled beginning the week after Labor Day (September through November).
- Spring semester tours are scheduled middle of January through April.
- Summer semester tours are scheduled early June through late July.
HIGH SCHOOL TOUR GROUPS:
The Office of Recruitment and Admission welcomes high schools, community colleges, and other special groups of no more than 100 students to schedule a visit to campus. We require groups to provide one (1) chaperone per twenty-five (25) students to ensure effective management of the group.
During your visit, your group will be led on a walking tour around campus by one of our Student Ambassadors. At this time, you will be provided with information on UDC’s legacy and tradition, financial aid, housing, and extra-curricular activities. The tour will last for approximately 1 hour.

We attempt to satisfy every request that we receive, but there may be instances where we may not be able to accommodate your request due to tour guide availability. In order to provide the best and most comprehensive tour the Community College, we have provided a self-guided walking tour.
