8/27/18 – Due to a major water main break in the vicinity of 801 North Capitol Street, the University of the District of Columbia Community College will be closed on Tuesday, August 28th, for students, faculty, and staff.
This means all work operations will be suspended, except for those essential areas where workers are required to report for duty.
Faculty should communicate with students via Blackboard to ensure instructional continuity.
Staff workers who are able to access the Internet should work from home, check voicemail and email via Outlook 365, and log onto “myUDC” to access Banner & PeopleSoft. VPN access is not required when using myUDC. myUDC can be reached via the main UDC webpage or by typing myUDC in the search bar.
Again, this closure applies only to the 801 North Capitol Street facility. NO OTHER CAMPUSES ARE AFFECTED. All other campuses will conduct normal business operations.
