UDC Community College’s Aerospace Technology Program offers unique opportunities for graduates

or some, achieving the American dream begins with completing the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at UDC Community College (UDC-CC). After two years of classroom instruction and hands-on training, graduates receive their associate degree and earn competitive salaries in the District in a field that is in high demand.

SBPA students experience life-changing trip to United Kingdom in first-ever study abroad course

This summer, the UDC School of Business and Public Administration (UDC-SBPA) offered the first-ever study abroad course in Nottingham and London, United Kingdom. Supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, the BGMT 395 study abroad course was offered from June 30- to August 13, 2022, as an elective for the Logistics & International Trade (LIT) Analytics concentration. It can be counted as a business management elective for business majors across all SBPA disciplines and concentrations. Students can opt for this course across all schools and colleges at UDC. Engineering and non-business majors enrolled in the LIT analytics concentration can use this course effectively towards fulfilling LIT requirements.

President Ronald Mason Jr. and Chief Officer of Student Development and Success Dr. William Latham presided over the installation of new ambassadors for UDC and UDC Community College.

Sworn in by President Ronald Mason Jr. on August 26, these students will represent UDC programs to internal and external constituents and set the tone for prospective students and their families. In addition, they serve as special event assistants representing the student and broader communities.

UDC partners with the FBI for employment opportunities for graduates

On April 26, UDC President Ronald Mason Jr. met with Assistant Director in Charge (ADIC) Steven D’Antuono, head of the Washington Field Office, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Jeffrey Cannon, head of the Mission Services Division of the Washington Field Office and Special Agent/Private Sector Coordinator Matthew O’Brien, the academia coordinator, who works with colleges and universities.
