The University’s Royal Court and members of the Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., Beta Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. and Beta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc., attended the HBCU Experience educational event at the National Children’s Research Center on Saturday, April 29. The UDC Fire Dolls also performed at the event.

Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Beta Iota Chapter at the 2023 National Cherry Blossom Festival. UDC was a proud sponsor. The University continues its partnership with the Festival, which began in 2011 during the University’s 160th-anniversary celebration in conjunction with the Festival’s centennial celebration—when the National Cherry Blossom Festival donated over 40 cherry trees to the Dr. Cleveland L. Dennard Plaza, as well as the Connecticut Avenue streetscape.
