UDC – CC scholars career day tour at the Marriot
UDC-CC scholars had the opportunity to meet & greet with Marriott professionals during a recent career day tour. Scholars were first greeted by the Marriott Grand Marquis General Dan Nadeau. Marriott also held an industry panel session, shared hiring information and gave us a career exploration tour of the Grand Marquis here in Washington, DC. Scholars also walked away with new Human Resources networking contacts, industry knowledge and priceless memories of visiting the Grand Marquis. New Leadership Selected for UDC
The University of the District of Columbia Board of Trustees has concluded its executive search with the selection of Ronald Mason, Jr. as the new president. Mason will succeed Dr. James E. Lyons, Sr., who has served as interim president of the University of the District of Columbia since March 2013. His presidency becomes effective on July 1.
