UDC, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Navy Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division and the National Reconnaissance Office hosted a one-of-a-kind free event for college students who seek to learn more about career opportunities from STEM leaders in the National Capital Region. The career fair took place on Saturday, April 15 at the Van Ness Campus, and multiple government agencies exhibited at the event.

On Monday, March 20, students attended the Washington Wizards Campus Ambassador Program at the Van Ness Campus. Attendees learned everything from marketing and events planning to global partnerships from Wizards professionals. Junior digital media student, Brian Simpkins, moderated the event.

A Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated member donates blood at the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC and UDC blood drive on February 25 at the Van Ness Campus. The event was co-sponsored by the American Red Cross.

As part of their DC college tour trip, the Prymus Angels All-Stars from Miami, Florida, visited the Van Ness Campus on Monday, January 30. NeKesha A. Prymus started the nonprofit athletic college-bound program for youth over 20 years ago to inspire students to “go further.”
