Save the Date: Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony

UDC will host its 10th Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday, February 25 at noon in the Van Ness Campus Student Center Ballroom. This year’s induction class includes three former student-athletes: Robert Vernard Gates (’79), Patrice Irby Mabry (’99) and Lillian McGill Green (’11).

Established during UDC’s 160th anniversary, the Athletics Hall of Fame honors outstanding individuals and recognizes the University’s rich history of intercollegiate athletics, which began in the early 1900s when students attending Miner Teachers College competed in basketball and tennis. Athletics Hall of Fame inductees have significantly contributed to the athletic success and history of the University and its predecessor institutions. For more information please click here.
