Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences faculty awarded $10,000
Dr. Angelyn Spaulding Flowers, professor and coordinator of the Homeland Security Graduate Program and Professor Cotina Lane Pixley, clinical instructor in the Crime, Justice and Security Studies Program, were awarded $10,000 by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Higher Education Directorate (FEMA HiEd) for their work on the impact of climate change on emergency management, with a particular focus on its impact on marginalized and underserved communities.
