UDC Cable television general manager and executive producer receives distinguished Gold Circle Award

The Board of Governors of the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presented Edward Jones with a Gold Circle Award at the Gold & Silver Ceremony. The event was held on Saturday, September 24, at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.

The Gold Circle honors those who have contributed significantly to the broadcast or cable industry over 50 years in the National Capital and Chesapeake Bay region. The Silver Circle honors those who have contributed for over 25 years.

Jones began his career of more than 50 years in radio, television broadcast and cable management and production in Cincinnati, Ohio, at public television station WCET in 1968. He has been a part of Team UDC for over 26 years.
