A Message From the Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration

Mohamad Sepehri, Ph.D., Dean School of Business and Public AdministrationWe begin the new academic year by welcoming you to campus, as we embark upon a glorious era for the UDC School of Business and Public Administration (SBPA): I am proud to announce that the SBPA has earned the AACSB accreditation! It is a marquee achievement and recognition of the quality of our business program—an achievement only five percent of all business schools worldwide can claim.

The attainment of the AACSB accreditation signifies SBPA’s quality programs and the market relevance of our degree to top employers and other universities. It reaffirms our unwavering commitment to our students to help empower them to achieve their goals and blossom into outstanding leaders of tomorrow.

We are also proud of the teaching excellence and remarkable research of our esteemed faculty, which ensures that our students receive an unmatched academic experience throughout their journey. We pride ourselves on our social impact through the development of innovative, award-winning programs such as the SBPA’s VITA Tax Clinic, PATHS program and the Social Robotics, benefitting communities and students.

Our excellent SBPA alumni network and DC location provide inimitable advantages to our business programs, with easy access to corporate, governmental and international networking resources. The SBPA’s business programs now are embedded in the only AACSB-accredited, exclusively urban, public land-grant and a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). We look forward to getting to know you, too.

Welcome home to your UDC SBPA.
