Dr. Lara A. Thompson Is the First Principal Investigator Faculty Member of an HBCU To Receive the NSF’s Prestigious Alan T. Waterman Award

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lara A. Thompson, an associate professor in the mechanical engineering department in the School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, has been awarded the Alan T. Waterman Award by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Dr. Thompson is the first principal investigator from an HBCU to receive the award.  Click here to read more.
