Step-by-Step Guide for International Students

1. Complete and submit the international student online application.
2. Pay a non-refundable $50.00 (USD) application fee (application fee currently waived).
3. Submit official, sealed and translated academic transcripts. Academic work completed outside of the U.S. at the secondary or university levels must be evaluated by a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES). TEC (formerly SpanTran) has created a custom application for UDC to ensure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate. 4. Submit evidence of English proficiency. Please review the full details on English proficiency requirements, including "conditional admission," if you meet all admission requirements besides English proficiency.
5. Submit financial verification (if you are holding an F-1 visa).
6. Submit the following immigration documentation:
   1. Copy of passport photo/data page
   2. I-94 card
   3. I-20 Eligibility Form
      
7. If you are an F-1 transfer student, submit a copy of your most recent I-20 and F-1 Transfer Forms.

After submitting your admissions application, remember:

• UDC cannot make any decision regarding your admission until we have received ALL required documents, including transcripts, test scores and other items listed above. View our Apply Now page for more information.
• If you need to update your application or have decided to defer your application to a future academic term, please complete the Application Update Form and email or mail it to the Admissions Office.

Once you have been accepted into UDC, please complete the following steps to confirm your enrollment, finalize your paperwork and join our campus community!

1. Complete and submit your Confirmation of Enrollment Form
2. Obtain your student visa and pay your SEVIS fee
3. If you are under 26 years of age, please submit your vaccination/health forms
4. Submit your health insurance or insurance waiver forms
5. Make an appointment with the university SEVIS coordinator
6. Register for orientation
7. If you are a community college student, schedule an appointment to take the ACCUPLACER test

Transferring to UDC

If you are transferring to UDC from another college or university, please complete these additional steps:

1. Facilitate your SEVIS release between your current university and UDC.
2. If you are changing your visa status, please provide UDC with the proper documentation.
3. Review your Transfer Credit Report. If you apply before the priority deadline, you should receive your report within three or four weeks of submitting your application. If you apply after the deadline, you may not receive your reports until orientation. If you have not received your report, you may contact the Admissions Office.
