Ms. Kimberly Pennamon - Associate Vice President of Student Affairs

Kimberly Pennamon has a diverse professional background that has afforded her the opportunity to view the educational arena from many perspectives to include management and administration, counseling services, testing services, health education, career services, admissions and orientation, instruction, faculty affairs, and curriculum. She has worked with middle school, high school, traditional and non-traditional learners, and adult learners.

Mr. Marc Strothers - Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs

Marc Strothers serves as Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs. As Assistant to the Vice President, he has responsibilities in managing and supervising judicial affairs, coordinating the Student Leadership Institute and providing leadership for technology services, special projects and the UDC Student Center Initiative.

Dr. Sislena Ledbetter - Director, Counseling Center

Dr. Sislena Grocer Ledbetter is the Director of Counseling and Student Development at the University of the District of Columbia providing overall direction for client services and University support activities. Dr. Ledbetter is a distinguished psychologist, lecturer and counselor and has over 25 years of research experience in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Her past work included advertising and branding, product development (ideation and evaluation) customer satisfaction/user experience, and strategic planning.

Mr. David Gaston - Project Specialist

David Gaston serves in the Office of Student Life and Services working in the areas of Student Outreach & Activities at the University. Mr. Gaston is responsible for engaging a diverse group of students by promoting academic accountability, personal involvement, community outreach, and leadership through a number of University based service projects.
