Attention UDC Community,

Please be advised that a Free Tibet protest is taking place today from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m. in the vicinity of Van Ness, NW.

As a result, Van Ness Street NW between Connecticut Avenue NW and Reno Road NW is closed to vehicular traffic. Consequently, the Van Ness Street parking entrance to campus is also closed during this time.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and the U.S. Secret Service are on-site managing traffic and crowd control to help ensure public safety.

Members of the campus community should plan for possible travel delays and allow additional time when arriving on campus.
