Graduates are required to participate in the commencement ceremony associated with their term of completion:
Graduation clearance is handled by your academic department. Please reach out to your department for information about graduation clearance.
Bachelor's degree candidates must complete at least 60% of the credits required for graduation at the University of the District of Columbia to be eligible for university honors.
Honors are based on your cumulative GPA in all hours attempted:
Associate degree candidates must complete at least 60% of the credits required for graduation at the University of the District of Columbia to be eligible for university honors.
Diplomas are issued by the university's diploma vendor, Parchment.
Diploma covers are distributed to graduates at the commencement ceremony.
