The webinar will focus on the importance of Black women attorneys and judges within the profession, address challenges Black women face in the profession, and how to overcome those challenges. The event features female leaders from General Motors and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

Join Dean Twinette Johnson for a discussion on perspectives and leadership of Black women in the Law. The evening’s activities will include a pre-reception and post- reception. Panel on navigating communication and professionalism in the workplace

Please join the Office of Special Programs for “Navigating communication and professionalism in the workplace.” Students will engage with young, professional women of color in the DMV community. The discussion will focus on navigating respectability politics and the expectations of communication and “professionalism” in the workplace as women of color.
