Program Overview

Associate of Science in Public Health and Information Technology

The AS in Public Health and Information Technology is designed to give students a strong foundation in both health sciences and digital technologies. It equips graduates to manage, analyze, and safeguard health data, while also understanding the social and community impacts of public health initiatives.

This program is ideal for students who:

  • Enjoy working with both people and data
  • Are interested in solving real-world health problems using technology
  • Want a career in a fast-growing industry (Health IT is projected to grow 17%+ by 2032, per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)

Interdisciplinary Focus

Unlike many programs that focus exclusively on either public health or IT, this one integrates both. Students gain dual competency in epidemiology, health policy, and health informatics, cybersecurity, and data systems.
