The mission of the University of the District of Columbia Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management (OPSEM) is to ensure a safe, secure and resilient environment that supports the educational and operational goals of our community. We are dedicated to proactive safety practices, emergency preparedness and inclusive engagement that reflects our core values of integrity, service and accountability. Through collaboration, training and rapid response, we strive to protect life and property while fostering a culture of trust, awareness, and shared responsibility.
