UDC Alumnus Wins 2 Emmys at the 62nd NATAS Emmy Awards Ceremony

 

University of the District of Columbia alumnus Larry Sindass received two Emmy Awards at the 65th National Association of Television Arts NCCB Chapter Ceremony on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

The first Emmy was in the editing category for his work on the WUSA9 (CBS affiliate) special assignment feature “20 Years After Sniper Attacks: Everyone Remembers.”

The second was in the Business Consumer, Long Form Category for editing the WUSA9 (CBS affiliate) half-hour news special “What’s Your Home Worth?”

During his distinguished career, Sindass has received seven Emmy awards from the NATAS-NCCB Chapter. He is a 1992 graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media with a concentration in Film and Cinematography.

Sindass is the Chief Editor for News at the CBS affiliate WUSA9.
