Student Success Courses

Student success courses are designed to provide students with information about the University of the District of Columbia and assist in academic and career planning, and an introduction to techniques for improving study habits and other personal skills.


Prerequisite(s): Probation Student/Re-admitted Suspended Students

Students who are on academic probation and suspension are required to attend this course. The course is designed to help student identify and address their areas of deficiencies by creating as Student Success Plan. Students who are place on probation or are suspended from the University and have been readmitted may have stipulations placed upon their readmission. These stipulations may include a requirement that a student repeat courses previously taken or register for this Student Success Course. Other stipulations may include but are not limited to regular follow-up with an advisor or faculty member, or participation in specified study or support groups.
