2020-4-17 to 4-27 Senior Project Capstone Presentations April 2020

Presentations will be Webex meetings and will be recorded.

Senior Capstone Projects represent the culmination of the educational experience, integrating the classroom with real world problems. The students handle open-ended engineering and computational problems whose solutions require a synthesis of engineering knowledge, computational analysis, creativity, market needs, safety and esthetics. Projects are supervised by instructors and industry mentors.

Please see the schedule and join the webex meeting as scheduled.

2020-3-6 ASME Participates in Smithsonian STEM Day

UDC engineering students participate at STEM event at NMAAHC

Engineering students from the University of the District of Columbia led ASME’s participation at the second annual Smithsonian/National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) STEM Day, held recently in Washington, D.C.

Representatives of the ASME K-12 STEM Programs staff joined forces with these sophomore students to champion STEM and the power of thinking like an engineer at the exhibition, which was held on Feb. 22 in conjunction with Engineers Week.
