Biography

Suzan Abed is an Associate professor of Accounting in the School of Business and Public Administration (SBPA) at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC). Before she joined UDC in 2019, she was working as a Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate studies at Applied Science University-Jordan-Amman.

Suzan received a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Aberdeen-UK in 2010.  In addition, she received MSc and BSc in Accounting from Yarmouk University, Irbid- Jordan. Dr. Abed published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented at more than 20 regional, national, and international conferences.
