Certificate Program in Procurement and Public Contracting

The curriculum below applies to students who
entered prior to Fall 2010.

The Certificate Program in Procurement and Public Contracting is designed to prepare students for employment as procurement specialists, project managers, and contract administrators. It is designed for students who are already employed but would like to acquire additional knowledge in the procurement field for career advancement. It is also designed for juniors who aspire to careers in public acquisition systems, regardless of their field of major.

Students must complete 24 semester hours in purchasing, contract formation and administration, cost analysis, and other related subjects. To accommodate working students, required courses are offered in the evening. Full-time students can complete this program in one academic year.
