Please submit requests for event coverage 2-4 weeks in advance. Coverage will be determined based on staff capacity.
Requests for mass email communications to the University community
All requests to distribute email messages or e-newsletters to employees and/or students must be submitted through this link. Requests will be completed within five (5) to seven (7) business days, based on the complexity of the request. All requests will be reviewed and prioritized, as appropriate. The timeframe may be adjusted based on the scope and volume of requests in the OMC’s queue.
Requests for edits to udc.edu or myUDC webpages
If edits are needed for a web page, please submit a request to the OMC using this link. Requests will be completed within five (5) to ten (10) business days, based on the complexity of the request. All requests will be reviewed and prioritized, as appropriate. The timeframe may be adjusted based on the scope and volume of requests in the OMC’s queue.

Requests for communications support or to share announcements
All communication requests, announcements or news stories must be submitted through this link.
All submissions will be reviewed to determine applicability—based on the University’s strategic messaging priorities—and the effective communication channel(s) (website, UDC Forward newsletter, social media platforms, etc.).
To ensure the request can be fulfilled in the timeliest manner, please provide detailed information and supporting images where possible. Photos must be submitted at 300 dpi resolution. Each photo subject must sign the University’s photography/video waiver, which can be downloaded here. A parent or guardian’s signature is also required on media waivers for any photo featuring a minor.
UDC-hosted events should be listed in 25Live before submitting a request.
Requests for photography and video live streams of events
While the OMC does not have an in-house photographer or videographer, at our discretion, the OMC may provide photography or videography coverage for selected UDC events and activities where resources are available from the OMC or UDC-TV staff. Please ensure that all UDC-hosted events are included in 25Live in advance for support consideration.
The OMC does not have the resources to provide live stream support at this time.
