Transportation and Fleet Management

Fleet Management is charged with meeting the transportation needs of faculty and staff by managing a motor pool of over 20 vehicles that are used to conduct official university business.

Services Provided

  • Plan and coordinate transportation requests
  • Order new vehicles and towing services (upon request)
  • Motor vehicle property disposal
  • Coordinate maintenance, scheduled service, and repairs provided by Department of Public Works
  • Compliance and data reporting to external stakeholders
  • Maintain fuel management systems
  • Maintain licensing and vehicle registration
  • Coordinate emergency road side assistance
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Prepare of accident reports
  • Annual vehicle inspections
  • Coordinate tickets and citation payments
  • Provide shuttle service
  • Provide and monitor motor coach services (where applicable)
