Sheilah D. Vance, J.D., is UDC's Compliance Officer and Title IX Coordinator. She is also the UDC ADA/504 Coordinator and the UDC Sexual Harassment Officer. Vance has a B.A. in Communications, magna cum laude, from Howard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University. Vance is Chair of the Board of Directors for the Clery Center and a member of the Advisory Board for the Association of Title IX Administrators. She is licensed to practice law in DC and Pennsylvania. Previously, she was Chief Officer for EEO and Compliance at Stockton University, Chief of Staff and Deputy to the President at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, and Assistant Dean for Academic Support and Adjunct Professor, teaching Education Law at Villanova University School of Law.
