Alex R. Bako is an engineer and risk management professional with over 25 years of broad experience. He is responsible for managing activities related to university insurance, environmental compliance and occupational safety and health. Mr. Bako previously served in senior management roles at the District of Columbia Office of Risk Management and the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Yale University School of Epidemiology and Public Health. He also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.
