2022 Commencement Speaker

The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will hold its 45th annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Walter Washington Convention Center. In addition to providing the keynote speech, Benjamin (“Ben”) L. Crump will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from UDC Board of Trustees Chair Christopher Bell and President Ronald Mason Jr. The event is limited to graduating seniors and guests, along with faculty, administrators and other invited community members, due to continuing COVID-19 protocols. The ceremony will also be live-streamed.
