Aliyah Morris-Chevalier Wins First Prize in Durag Festival’s HBCU Design Challenge
Art student Aliyah Morris-Chevalier achieved first prize in the Durag Festival’s HBCU Design Challenge, earning a $1,000 scholarship from the DuGhood Foundation. Her winning artwork was not only showcased at the festival but also featured on the 2024 festival VIP bag, available for purchase in the official merchandise shop. Additionally, Aliyah received two VIP tickets for herself and a guest to attend the event, which took place in June in Charlotte, NC. Congratulations, Aliyah!
