All UDC Campuses to Close Immediately Due to Inclement Weather (8/7/23)

Due to inclement severe weather, all UDC campuses will close immediately today, August 7, 2023.

A tornado watch is in effect for the DC area. Widespread storms are expected, with the possibility of destructive winds and tornadoes.

All students and employees are encouraged to leave the campuses immediately and take necessary safety precautions.

In the event of a weather emergency, the University of the District of Columbia has developed an emergency notification plan that utilizes multiple methods of communication.  UDC operating status will be broadcast by local/social media, the University’s website, and shared text and email.
