Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month @ UDC! Join us on for the D.C. watch party for the PBS premiere of the documentary film La Manplesa. The film chronicles the 1991 riots in D.C.'s Mt. Pleasant neighborhood -- the root causes, the days of uprising, and the community organizing that followed. This special screening will take place Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in UDC’s Student Center Ballroom on the Van Ness campus (4200 Connecticut Ave, NW Washington, DC 20008). Please consider participating, and faculty are asked to consider encouraging their students to attend. NOTE: Masks are required for all people on UDC’s campuses.
