UDC College of Arts and Sciences Biology Program and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Receive National Science Foundation S-STEM Program (NSFDUE/S-STEM) Grant.The UDC College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have received a research grant of $989,475 from the National Science Foundation S-STEM Program (NSFDUE/S-STEM). This funding will provide 85 full-tuition scholarships overĀ a five-year period, to qualified underrepresented or low-income students in biology, chemistry and engineering. The goal of the program is to provide holistic mentoring, concentrated learning activities, and intensive research experiences. The program is under the direction of Dr. Freddie M. Dixon and Dr. Aboise O. Adebayo.
