AAS in Medical Radiography

The Medical Radiograph program offers the Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Radiography. It offers a basic general education, as well as an in-depth study of radiological technology which is augmented by extensive clinical experiences. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Technology (JRCERT). Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is eligible to take the certification examination given by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists. Radiographers are eligible for employment in the radiology departments of hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices. The curriculum will prepare graduates to assume leadership roles in their profession, as well as provide transfer options for graduates who elect to continue studies beyond the AAS.

Each of the radiological technology courses builds upon material offered in the previous course. Students need to meet pre-radiography course requirements before entry into medical radiography courses.
