UDC Honors Program Takes Flight

The UDC Honors Program attracts and enrolls ambitious, talented, and motivated young scholars from across the District. Starting this Fall, UDC will begin matching these students’ commitment with a new scholarship program that will cover the majority or all of new Honors students’ first year tuition costs. Thanks to the generosity of the UDC Foundation. 

In addition to receiving a scholarship, Honors students take challenging courses taken with a unique peer-group of high achievers; engage in experiential learning, community service, and leadership activities on campus and within the District; and have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with faculty, mentors, and peers that provide the support students need to transition successfully to college life.
