Financial Aid 2013-14
Attention students: Have you applied for financial aid for next fall and spring? Are you aware of the changes that may affect your federal student aid for the 2013-14 award year? If not, please plan to attend one of these financial aid sessions:

Community College 801 N. Capital St., NE Room 229 Wednesday, April 10 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 3:00 p.m.

Van Ness Campus 4200 Connecticut Ave., NW Bldg 41, A-03 - Auditorium Tuesday, April 9 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 12 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26 4:00 p.m.

Summer 2013 - Important Dates

* Students that submit their financial aid application after the priority deadline are strongly recommended to contact Student Accounts Department for payment options.

** Allow up to 14 days for refund once aid has been disbursed.

2013 Bookstore Purchases
Financial Aid recipients may purchase books directly from the Follett Bookstore beginning Monday, January 7, 2013 through Friday, January 18, 2013. Check eligibility requirements here.

Disbursement of Funds

Once all financial aid requirements have been completed by you and your class attendance has been verified by your instructor(s), a disbursement will be scheduled to your student account. Should there be any balance/credit remaining after all UDC charges are paid, a refund check will be generated within 14 days and mailed to your UDC listed address.

Please view your myUDC (my.udc.edu) account to check the status of your refund check.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CONTACTING STUDENT ACCOUNTS OR FINANCIAL AID REGARDING THE STATUS OF YOUR REFUND AS IT TAKES TIME AWAY FROM PROCESSING YOUR REFUND.

Please note, as the checks are sent from the District's Accounts Payable offices, no student may have their check available for office pick up and NO REFUND CAN BE EXPEDITED FOR ANY REASON.
