Office of Financial AidAnnouncement: Federal Changes in Financial Aid for 2012-2013 Welcome to the University of the District of Columbia’s Office of Financial Aid. We have committed ourselves to helping students bridge the gap between their personal resources and the cost of attending school. We strive to maintain the highest standards of customer service to our students, staff, administration and the entire community. Disbursement of FundsOnce all financial aid requirements have been completed by you and your class attendance has been verified by your instructor(s), a disbursement will be scheduled to your student account. Should there be any balance/credit remaining after all UDC charges are paid, a refund check will be generated within 14 days and mailed to your UDC listed address. Please view your myUDC (my.udc.edu) account to check the status of your refund check. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CONTACTING STUDENT ACCOUNTS OR FINANCIAL AID REGARDING THE STATUS OF YOUR REFUND AS IT TAKES TIME AWAY FROM PROCESSING YOUR REFUND. Please note, as the checks are sent from the District’s Accounts Payable offices, no student may have their check available for office pick up and NO REFUND CAN BE EXPEDITED FOR ANY REASON. |
