UDC Community-To-Career Partnership in Anacostia
UDC Community-To-Career Partnership in Anacostia is also more than just about earning credits or certifications. It also opens the “college experience” to students as young as middle schoolers and their families.
It is an innovative, national, early college high school model that allows high school students to earn a professional certification or up to 60 transferrable college credits towards an Associate Degree, tuition-free, while earning their high school diploma.
It focuses on getting students on a higher education path and actually taking professional certification or college courses as opposed to just preparing for college. It helps make college “accessible” for low-income, urban learners.
