CAUSES takes first place for innovative ‘ultra urban bmp’
The College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability & Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) and the Department of Energy & Environment’s (DOEE) Bertie Backus stormwater treatment train was awarded first prize in “The Best Urban BMP in the Bay Award contest (BUBBAs).” The contest recognizes the best urban stormwater practices and programs in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
