UDC sponsors skills training conference for Anacostia High School students

Anacostia High School students during the SkillsUSA Washington Leadership Training Institute.As part of UDC’s DAWN initiative, four Anacostia High School students participated in the SkillsUSA Washington Leadership Training Institute (WLTI) from September 17-20, where they developed leadership and communication skills through various sessions. Activities included congressional visits, tours of different monuments and memorials, and laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Assistant professor of social work appointed to Council
