Washington, DC - UDC President Dr. Allen L. Sessoms joined DC Mayor Vincent C. Gray at the Deanwood Neighborhood Library for a press conference Thursday morning to discuss the city’s plans to engage children in reading programs over summer vacation.  The mayor and Dr. Sessoms were joined by DC education officials and community college CEO Dr. Jonathan Gueverra in addressing an audience of students from Houston Elementary School and senior citizens from Deanwood.
