UDC Police Participate in National Night Out Activities
Washington, DC - Members of the UDC Police Department participated in a National Night Out event with members of the Metropolitan Police Department last night in Southeast Washington. The NNO events are designed to create awareness of crime prevention techniques, recognize members of the law enforcement community, and form bonds between the community and police officers.
MPD Chief Cathy Lanier was on hand during the event as was UDC Police Chief Larry Volz, who was happy to see his officers participating in a citywide event.
