Vending Machine Audit Completed

The Sustainability Initiative recently completed an energy audit on the 16 vending machines on the Van Ness campus. The result: the average vending machine on campus costs nearly $200 a year to operate (click here for the full audit).
UDC is looking to save energy costs while reducing our carbon footprint by requiring that all new vending machines be energy efficient, which could result in savings of up to 33%. In just one year, that would translate into over $1,000 saved.
