NASA AMBASSADOR OUTREACH ACTIVITIES TO MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE: FALL-2019

CAM-STAR encourages high school students to participate in Advanced Manufacturing and organize a year-around module into the UDC Trio Upper Bound program “Introduction to Advanced Manufacturing and its Applications in Space Technology”, to participate in NASA competitions and to increase the high school students’ awareness of NASA programs. CAM-STAR anticipate that providing Advanced Manufacturing-focused and NASA-related exposure to potential students and faculty members to expand the nation’s base for STEM education and a diverse future workforce for NASA-related fields.

Recruitment Campaign at Montgomery Community College

The Recruitment Campaign was organized for the transfer students at Montgomery Community College in which students were introduced to CAM-STAR, NASA internship, NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge, along with other NASA opportunities.
