UDC Rover Team takes 7th place in NASA Rover Challenge

UDC Rover Team takes 2nd place in NASA Rover ChallengeFinal results of 2018 NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge were announced from NASA Center in Huntsville, AL with great news. The UDC Rover Team won the 2nd place among the all-rookie teams, and the 7th place overall among 100 university teams. This challenge brought competitors from top U.S. institutions and teams from Europe, India and South America. Our interdisciplinary team included Victor Ramos (driver), Victoria Church (driver), Tobias Goulet, Giancarlo D’Orazio, Cyree Beckett, Juvani Downer, Ernesto Cruz and faculty advisor Dr. Jiajun Xu and mechanical workshop engineer Pablo Sanchez.

 Dean Shetty states, “Many other students were involved and gave a helping hand with this project. During the year of designing, constructing and testing the rover, I was impressed with the talent, commitment and professionalism of our students.”
