Deborah Sullivan - VP of Talent Management at UDCCOVID-19 pandemic remains a significant health risk to everyone across the world.  At the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), our planning team has created and implemented several strategies to minimize risk to our students, faculty, staff, and all members of the Firebird community as we begin the Fall 2020 semester.  Our focus is on the health and well-being of all Firebirds.

UDC enters Fall 2020 in an emergency remote delivery mode.  The University is operational, but the physical campus will mostly remain closed. The majority of UDC employees are teleworking, and the majority of our courses will be delivered online except for a few hybrid courses.

During these unprecedented times, the Office of Talent Management offers resources and information to support our workforce and address the challenges posed by our “new normal.”   Please visit the links below for important news, updates, and resources designed to help all employees navigate the Fall Opening Process.

We encourage you to take a moment each day to express gratitude for the opportunity to continue to advance our mission.  As Firebirds, we will RISE (Responding with Institutional Success and Excellence)!  Have a great Fall Semester.
