Annual Leave Rollover

In recognition of employees’ inability to use annual leave, the Mayor has authorized the University to implement a variance issued by the District of Columbia Department of Human Resources.

The variance permits employees under the Mayor’s authority, who would otherwise forfeit their accrued annual leave at the close of leave year January 2, 2021, to have their forfeited leave restored to a separate leave account for use in calendar years 2021 and 2022.
