Lewis Krauthamer: Tuesday, November 23rd at 12:30 pm

Prof. Lewis Krauthamer will discuss the four-year-long creative process leading to the recent completion of his Chamber Symphony. He will share aspects of his compositional working methods, from sketch to rough draft, to preliminary drafts, to the final orchestral score. Additionally, he will discuss the process of recording parts remotely with professional musicians, including current UDC music education major (vocal concentration) Ms. Dinys Ortíz, featured as vocal soloist on the recording.
