Mark Moore was the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and owner of Segovia Inc., which provided global IP services to the Department of Defense. Several years ago, Moore developed a blood deficiency that caused him to suffer two severe strokes. However, his faith in God and determination, along with the support of his wife Brenda, friends, and family, allowed him to make a tremendous recovery. Moore and his wife founded The Mark and Brenda Moore and Family Foundation, which has helped grow organizations in education, health care, Christian ministry, and arts and culture. He is a founding donor for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture and has also raised more than $2 million in contributions for INOVA’s Mount Vernon Hospital. To date, the Mark and Brenda Moore Family Foundation has donated Over $7.5 million to a variety of worthwhile causes serving the Washington, DC, Community and beyond.
