Transcript/Duplicate Degree Request Process

Request a Transcript

Requests for University of the District of Columbia transcripts will not be processed until all financial requirements to the university have been met.  Requests for transcripts generally require 2-3 business days for processing.  Please allow additional time (5-7 days) if the request is being sent at the end of an academic semester.  All transcript requests require the signature of the requestor.

Fees:
All transcripts requests carry a charge of $5.00 per transcript.  If ordering online, there is an additional $2.25 per transcript service charge per recipient.

On-Line

The University of the District of Columbia is under agreement with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide a 24/7 transcript ordering service to our current and former students.  Using the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Service requires the requestor to submit an electronic signature to the Clearinghouse to authorize the release of the transcript.Order your ONLINE TRANSCRIPT now!

Mail

Mailed requests should be addressed to the Office of the Registrar.   Complete and print the Transcript Request Form.  Mail the Transcript Request Form and the appropriate fee (a $5.00 per transcript fee in the form of a personal check and/or money order, made payable to the University of the District of Columbia) to the address below.   Please do not send cash in the mail.

In Person

You may always go to the Office of the Registrar, Building 39, Suite A-135, to order your transcript(s).  Payment can be made in the University’s Cashier’s Office.


UDC David A. Clarke School of Law Students

The UDC David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL) processes academic transcripts under its own Registrar’s Office. The University Registrar’s Office does not have access to law school students’ transcripts.

Request a Duplicate Degree

A request by mail or walk in – request must include the requestor’s name as it appeared on the original degree, current address, major, degree earned, date of graduation, and a day-time telephone number.  The replacement fee is $50.00 payable by check or Money Order, if mailing.  You may pay by cash, personal check, or credit card, if you submit a walk-in request.
