Mission Statement
The Office of Alumni Relations is that University Advancement component that works toward building a new constituency of proactive alumni and pre-alumni “that is, current UDC students” as friends and financial contributors to the University of the District of Columbia.
To fulfill this objective, the Office of Alumni Relations engages alumni in a wide range of program activities, such as:
- Homecoming
- Class reunions
- Social, cultural and athletic events
- Hosting recruitment activities, seminars and workshops
- Creating networking opportunities to sustain a seamless link between students, graduates and graduate’s alma mater
